I woke up to a white world this weekend, with a light
dusting of snow covering the city. There have been days with snow before this
winter, but this is probably the last expression of winter cold as temperatures
are set to rise.
The crocuses I planted last autumn are showing already
(left). For the rest the evergreen plants are peeking through the snow with the
ivy (middle) almost completely covered and the ferns (right) standing proud of
the carpet of white.
